Sigmon VR (“Sigmon VR,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Hero X Hero application (the “App”) on Meta Horizon devices and any related services we provide (collectively, the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we process, why we process it, when we disclose it, how long we retain it, and the choices available to you.

In this policy, “process” includes accessing, collecting, using, storing, transmitting, or deleting information. Some information may be accessed only temporarily to provide a feature and may not be stored by us.

This policy applies to Hero X Hero. Meta’s own processing of information, including information connected with your Meta account, is governed by Meta’s policies and is not controlled by us.

1. Information We Process

Depending on the features you use and the permissions available to the App, we may process the following information.

Meta Horizon profile information

We may receive profile information made available through Meta Horizon, such as your display name, username, profile image or avatar, and other profile fields made available to the App. We use this information to identify you in Hero X Hero, display your in-app identity, and provide account and social features.

Meta Horizon User ID

We receive a platform-provided user identifier associated with your Meta Horizon account. We use it to authenticate you, associate your account with your progress and entitlements, operate social features, prevent duplicate or unauthorized accounts, provide support, and protect the Service.

Friends and social information

If you use social features, we may access information made available by Meta about your eligible Meta Horizon friends who also use or interact with Hero X Hero, including friendship, invitation, presence, or connection status. We use this information only to provide friend discovery, invitations, multiplayer or other social functionality within the App. Hero X Hero does not import your phone address book through these Meta Horizon features.

Device-ban and safety information

We may receive or process device-ban, access-restriction, integrity, eligibility, or enforcement information made available by Meta Horizon. We use this information to determine whether a user or device may access the Service, enforce restrictions, prevent abuse or fraud, and protect users and the Service.

In-app purchases and downloadable content

We may receive information about products, subscriptions, downloadable content, or other entitlements associated with your account, such as a product identifier, ownership or entitlement status, and transaction-related identifiers or status made available by Meta. We use this information to verify purchases, unlock and restore content, maintain entitlements, prevent fraud, and respond to support requests. Payment processing is handled by Meta or the applicable store provider. We do not receive your full payment-card number from Meta through these features.

Technical, diagnostic, and usage information

When you use the Service, we or our service providers may automatically process technical and diagnostic information, such as IP address, device type, operating-system and App version, language, timestamps, crash and error reports, security events, and information about how features of the App are used. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Hero X Hero. Where reasonably possible, analytics used to improve the App are aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized.

Information you provide directly

We process information you choose to provide, such as support messages, data-deletion requests, reports, feedback, or other communications. Please do not include information that is not necessary for us to respond to your request.

2. How We Obtain Information

We obtain information:

from Meta Horizon and its platform features;
automatically from the App, your device, and our service infrastructure when you use Hero X Hero; and
directly from you when you contact us or submit information through the Service.

3. How and Why We Use Information

We process information only as reasonably necessary to:

provide, operate, maintain, and personalize Hero X Hero;
authenticate users and manage accounts;
display user profiles and provide friend, invitation, multiplayer, and other social features;
verify purchases, restore entitlements, and provide downloadable content;
enforce device bans and other access or safety restrictions;
detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, and violations of our rules;
provide customer support and respond to user requests;
diagnose errors, monitor performance, and improve the Service using aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized insights where reasonably possible; and
comply with applicable law, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, Sigmon VR, Meta, and others.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, compliance with legal obligations, or your consent, depending on the circumstances. You may withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, but withdrawal does not affect processing already performed lawfully.

We do not sell Meta Horizon User Data or Device User Data. We do not use such data for advertising unrelated third-party products or for building advertising profiles across unrelated services.

4. When We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers: We may use hosting, backend, database, security, customer-support, analytics, or crash-reporting providers that process information on our behalf. They may access only the information reasonably necessary to provide their services and are contractually restricted from using Meta Horizon User Data or Device User Data for their own purposes.
Meta and platform providers: We may exchange information with Meta or the applicable platform provider when needed to operate platform features, verify entitlements, address security or policy issues, or comply with platform requirements.
Other users: Information intended for social or multiplayer features, such as your display name, avatar, presence, or in-app activity, may be visible to other users as part of those features.
Legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by applicable law or a valid legal process, or is necessary to protect users, investigate abuse or fraud, respond to an emergency, or protect legal rights. We review requests from public authorities and seek to disclose only information legally required and reasonably necessary.
Business transfer: If Sigmon VR is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and continued protection of the information.
With your direction or consent: We may disclose information when you direct us to do so or provide valid consent.

We remain responsible for describing our service providers accurately in required platform submissions. You may contact us for current information about the categories of service providers used for Hero X Hero.

5. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

profile, User ID, account, friend, and social information is retained or refreshed for as long as needed to provide the relevant account or social feature;
purchase and entitlement information may be retained for as long as needed to provide or restore purchased content and to meet accounting, fraud-prevention, and legal obligations;
device-ban, safety, and security records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to enforce restrictions, prevent repeated abuse, protect users, and resolve disputes;
support communications are retained while the request is being handled and for a reasonable period afterward for support, security, and recordkeeping; and
technical logs and diagnostic information are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for security, troubleshooting, and improvement, after which they are deleted or de-identified unless longer retention is legally required.

We may retain limited information when required by law, necessary to establish or defend legal claims, or necessary to prevent fraud and abuse. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it using reasonable measures.

6. Data Deletion and Your Rights

All Hero X Hero users, regardless of where they live, may request deletion of user data that we have collected or stored about them. We do not charge a fee for submitting or processing a data-deletion request.

To request deletion, email sss@sigmonvr.com with the subject line “Hero X Hero Data Deletion Request.” Include enough information for us to identify the Hero X Hero account concerned, such as your Meta Horizon username or User ID if known. Do not send a password or payment-card information.

We may need to verify your identity to protect your account and prevent unauthorized deletion. After verification, we will delete the user data associated with your Hero X Hero account from our active systems within a reasonable period and within any period required by applicable law. We may retain only limited information where, and for as long as, retention is required by law or reasonably necessary to prevent fraud or abuse, maintain security, exercise or defend legal claims, or protect the rights and safety of others. If we cannot fulfill all or part of a deletion request, we will explain the reason unless the law prohibits us from doing so.

Deleting information held by Hero X Hero does not delete your Meta account or information controlled independently by Meta. Requests concerning your Meta account should be submitted directly to Meta.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to request access to, correction of, restriction of, or a portable copy of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to withdraw consent and to complain to your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these additional rights, email sss@sigmonvr.com with the subject line “Hero X Hero Privacy Request.”

7. International Data Transfers

Sigmon VR is based in the United States. We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, and take reasonable steps to protect information in accordance with this policy and applicable law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children’s Privacy

Hero X Hero is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable law unless the Service is offered through an age-appropriate, parent-managed experience and the necessary parental authorization has been obtained. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information improperly may contact us at sss@sigmonvr.com to request review and deletion.

10. Third-Party Services and Links

The Service may contain links to or interact with services operated by third parties, including Meta. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Hero X Hero, our data practices, legal requirements, or platform requirements. We will post the revised policy at the same publicly accessible URL and update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects your rights or how we process information, we will provide additional notice where required.
